Overview

Legends of Runeterra is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed by Riot Games. Set in the League of Legends universe, it features champions, characters, and lore from the game's regions.

In 2020, I joined the UX Design team for Legends of Runeterra, contributing to the game's competitive experience by designing key play modes such as Gauntlet and Seasonal Tournament.

The Seasonal Tournament stands out as the first "in-game tournament" feature in a card game, allowing over 1,000 players to compete for cash prizes seamlessly within the client.

That year, the game received prestigious awards, including “iPad Game of the Year” and Google Play’s “Best Competitive Game.”
